Working Body Service

Problems with muscles, bones and joints have a habit of getting worse if they’re not treated. With Working Body, employees can talk to a physiotherapist over the phone without a GP referral. They’ll assess their symptoms, talk to them about what they could mean, and help them plan what to do next. 

Working Body is included as part of Advance, our corporate health insurance.

If the physiotherapist recommends specific exercises, they’ll guide the  employee through some they can try at home – or even at work – and explain how to stop the pain from returning. If follow-on treatment is needed, they’ll recommend next steps.

No need to work through pain

As soon as they feel a twinge, an employee can call us and speak to our Working Body team. A qualified physiotherapist will call them back to talk through their symptoms and discuss possible treatment.


No GP referral

No need to see a GP for a referral

If an employee needs physiotherapy, another hands-on therapy like osteopathy, diagnostic tests or a specialist consultation, they won’t need a GP referral . Our in-house team will find them the right expert quickly, and even get them a Fast Track Appointment with a specialist if needed.

Working Body comes as standard

Sports injuries, repetitive strain injuries, twisted ankles – our physiotherapists are experienced in assessing and diagnosing all types of conditions over the phone. Working Body is included in all corporate health plans, and we’ll work with your client's in-house physiotherapists if they have them.

Employees also don’t need to worry about their initial phone consultation affecting their out-patient limit or the number of physiotherapy sessions they’re entitled to under their plan.
