Serious illness affects everyone. If a member of your team needs an operation or a procedure, having this option on your small business health insurance plan means they’ll be treated quickly, helping to put everyone’s minds at ease.
Our appointments booking service team will arrange an appointment with a specialist somewhere that works for your employee – near home or work – at a good time for them and your business. If hospital treatment is the next step, they’ll be treated privately.
With Comprehensive Cancer Cover included with this option (unless you choose to opt out from the full cancer cover), your team can have quick access to treatment for cancer including surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Subject to your medical history and including the Comprehensive Cancer Cover on your plan.
Julie is 46 and owns a painting and decorating business in Norwich. She employs two other people, part time and, because the work they do is very physical, has the Treatment option on her healthcare cover. Recently, she’s been suffering from severe knee pain and has been to see a specialist who has referred her for knee surgery.
Because of her private health treatment option, Julie has already had her operation. She didn’t have to wait long and her procedure was carried out at a private hospital near home. We paid the fees for Julie’s operation in full as it was carried out at a hospital listed in our directory.
