Only 1 in 5 people in the UK are truly flourishing and enjoying good mental health. Our 2026 Mind Health Report1 highlights the need for employers to prioritise wellbeing in the workplace. Read on to find out more.

48% of employees in the UK are in poor mental health, highlighting the opportunity for employers to take action.  

The biggest barriers to seeking professional mental health support is the belief that medical attention is unnecessary (37%) and stigma (25%).

27% of workplaces don’t offer mental health and wellbeing support, yet 79% of employees expect their employer to provide it.
