Get your team moving again, fast
Musculoskeletal aches and pains are one of the most common reasons for work absence.¹ Our online assessment service helps your employees access support quickly – without the need for a GP referral.
Your employees, aged 18 and over, will have fast access to online appointments with an appropriate clinician - whether that's a physiotherapist, an advance-level physiotherapist or specialist.
As standard, using the online assessment and any online or phone appointments through the service won’t affect any outpatient limit or number of physiotherapy sessions your employee is entitled to, they also wont be asked to pay any contribution that they would usually pay towards treatment. For any onward or face to face treatment, any outpatient limits or contribution your employees normally pay towards treatment each year will apply.

How it works
-
Advice that fits busy lives
Your employees won’t have to take time out for a GP appointment. Whether it’s during a lunch break or after the school run, your employees can visit their online account to self-refer.
-
Fast access to the right support
Your employee will complete an online assessment to determine whether they need to see a physiotherapist, an advanced-level physiotherapist or a specialist. They can then book an appointment by phone or online at a time that suits them.
-
Expert care and guidance
The clinician will recommend next steps be that at home exercises or advise further treatment or tests - they’ll help them choose which. That could be a face-to-face appointment, a scan or an x-ray.
-
Control of their care
With access to online services, your employees are in control of their care. They can start their journey, manage their appointments; book, rearrange or cancel at any time they need to. They can enter details of their condition ahead of their conversation with the clinician, to get the most out of their appointment.
Straight to the right expert
The digital-first approach for the muscles, bones and joints service is based on clinical evidence. It aims to get your employees to the right clinician first time to help speed up their recovery.
This service provides your employees with quick access to online appointments with the right clinician including:
- standard physiotherapy (within 1 working day)3
- advanced level physiotherapy (within 2 working days)3
