Our range of Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) courses can support your business in promoting an open, supportive culture. Now available remotely, our courses are available for you to book privately, accommodating a whole company or larger group, or if you prefer, as individual places on a shared course.

Mental Health First Aid - Aware

An introductory half-day training course for up to 25 participants over 3 to 4 hours, which teaches people how to identify and help a person who may be developing or suffering from a mental health issue. This course is delivered by an Mental Health First Aid Instructor and covers a basic overview of common mental health conditions, factors affecting mental health, stress management, spotting signs of distress and how to support mental health in the workplace.

Private course, up to 25 employees - £1,250 

Individual place on a shared course - £125 per person

Shared course dates for 2022/2023 have not yet been confirmed, but please register your interest and you will be kept informed of future dates.

 

All employees are required to sign up for the course through via MHFA website. All forms need to be completed 10 days prior to the course commencing. You will subsequently be supplied a link to allow you attend the course with other candidates. If you are attending a shared course, it is likely this course will have attendees from other organisations present also. A minimum of 4 delegates is required for the course to go ahead is 4, with a maximum number of 25. In the event that there are not enough attendees for the course to commence on the advertised date, you will be offered a place on the next available date. All courses include training materials and certificates.

Mental Health First Aid - First Aider

A fully accredited course for up to 16 participants aimed at helping individuals identify, understand and assist someone experiencing a mental health issue. This course is delivered by a Mental Health First Aid Instructor and covers an in depth understanding of mental health, factors that can affect wellbeing, how to spot the early signs and guide someone to the right support, how to manage workplace trauma/crisis and ways to develop psychological resilience.

On successful completion of the course they'll also have three years’ access to the MHFA Support app and MHFA hub, which can be extended for another three year's with the completion of a Mental Health First Aid refresher course.

Private course, up to 16 employees - £2,800

Individual place on a shared course - £300 per person.

All employees are required to sign up for the course through the supplied link via MHFA website, and will also need to register to the MHFA Platform ‘Enabley’. All forms need to be completed 10 days prior to the course commencing. You will subsequently be supplied a link to allow you attend the course with other candidates. It is likely this course will have attendees from other organisations present also. Attendees will need to attend all live sessions and complete all self-learning to finish the course. A minimum of 4 attendees is required for the course to go ahead, with a maximum number of 16. In the event that there are not enough attendees for the course to commence on the advertised date, you will be offered a place on the next available date. All courses include training materials and certificates.
