Health at Hand

Your team can check their medication with a pharmacist. Discuss their treatment options with a nurse. Talk to a counsellor about how they’re feeling. Speak to a midwife about their pregnancy. They can call and ask us anything they like about their health, anytime1.

Sometimes you want to explore a health issue in more detail. Our Online Health Centres make this easy. They bring together the latest information, facts and tips from our own experts, leading medical authorities, specialist charities and NHS resources.

Your employees can also put their own questions to our panel of experts too during our regular live chats, or post questions using the ‘Ask our Expert’ online portal.

When it comes to heart problems or cancer, there is no road map to follow. Our dedicated heart and cancer nurses are here to guide. Following a diagnosis, we’ll immediately put them in touch and they’ll be there to support from diagnosis through to treatment. 

Some of the ways Health at Hand can help

  • If it’s the middle of the night and your employee’s child’s temperature is going through the roof, we’ll help them work out whether they need to rush to A&E or not.
  • If a chesty cough is getting worse, we’ll help them work out whether they need a doctor or opt for a dose of honey and lemon.
  • If they’ve received some medical test results they don’t understand, we’ll help them understand what they mean.
