Nikki Porges
Registered general nurse
24/7 health support line
I'm a registered nurse who trained and worked at St Thomas Hospital in London. I also hold a BSc Hons in Health Studies where I specialised in women’s health and the impact of deprivation on health. I'm a qualified Specialist Community Health Practitioner and Nurse Prescriber.
With over 40 years of experience, I've worked widely across the NHS acute and primary care sectors and have also worked on NHS patient-centred projects. I've helped establish one of England’s first discharge and acute/community liaison teams for an acute health trust and have extensive experience in acute health issues, oncology, palliative care, and managing life-changing illnesses.
I have a keen interest and extensive experience with women’s health, and gynaecology specifically with women experiencing menopause, and have conducted research around the UK into women’s experience of premature menopause and also endometriosis. I'm dedicated to supporting patients to be their best version of themselves across all aspects of health. When not working, I enjoy helping animals, horses, reading and being with good friends.
