AXA Health appoints Dr Corne Hurter as Medical Director

AXA Health has announced that Dr Corne Hurter has been appointed to the role of Medical Director for Services and Delivery.

Corne joins AXA Health from HCA UK where she has worked since 2016, in roles such as Medical Director for Care Transformation and Director of Medical Services. During her time with HCA UK, Corne was part of the first cohort of doctors to complete a Medical Management and Leadership Masters degree.

In her new role Corne will join the AXA Health Commercial Team, sitting on the Commercial SLT and reporting to Dr Ali Hasan, Commercial Director.

Commenting on her appointment, Corne said: “I am passionate about patient care and innovation that supports care delivery to patients in a manner which is sustainable and value driven.  

I am looking forward to joining the AXA Health team and using my experience to make a real difference to members and the service we provide.”

Dr Ali Hasan, Commercial Director added: “I’m delighted that Corne will be joining us in March in this new role. I’m confident that her rich and extensive experience in healthcare delivery and management, across a range of different institutions, will be a real addition to our team and will help us deliver our strategy and provide a great service to our members.”
