Extending support through life's key moments

As employers continue to focus on attracting, retaining and supporting their people, there is increasing recognition of the importance of providing meaningful support through major life stages and health challenges.

Developments such as the Employment Rights Act 2025 have further highlighted the need for organisations to consider how they support employees experiencing pregnancy, early parenthood, fertility challenges and menopause, alongside broader men's and women's health needs.

Against this backdrop, we're pleased to introduce a number of enhancements, together with Peppy, designed to help employees access timely, personalised support from experienced healthcare professionals.

Expert support employees can trust

All services continue to be delivered by Peppy's highly qualified healthcare professionals. Peppy practitioners have extensive clinical experience, qualifications and training.

This ensures employees receive evidence-based guidance, personalised support and access to appropriate care recommendations through a convenient digital experience.

Supporting the changing needs of today's workforce

Employee expectations around workplace wellbeing continue to evolve. With greater awareness of the impact that fertility journeys, menopause symptoms, pregnancy, early parenthood and health concerns can have on wellbeing and productivity, employers are increasingly looking for ways to provide more personalised support.

These enhancements to our existing services provide targeted, expert-led support at the moments employees may need it most. By enabling earlier identification of potential health concerns, facilitating quick access to specialist advice and supporting informed healthcare decisions, these services can help employees feel better supported both inside and outside of work.

For employers, this can contribute to a more inclusive wellbeing offering that recognises the diverse and changing needs of today's workforce.

Available as part of existing services

These enhancements are included within AXA Health's existing standalone services, delivered by Peppy.

Accessing the support services themselves comes at no additional cost to eligible employees. Where clinically appropriate, employees may choose to access specific tests or private prescriptions. If medication is required, the employee is responsible for the cost, which may cost more than an NHS prescription. This would be paid on collection from a pharmacy. Alternatively, Peppy’s clinicians can provide the employee information about recommended tests or medication to share with their GP. There is no charge for at-home tests, but if an employee chooses to have these tests carried out at a clinic, this would incur an additional charge.
