Frequently asked questions

The blood testing kits, and fulfilment of the service are delivered by Randox Health. The follow up consultation to run through your results are delivered by experienced AXA Health Physiologists. This can either take place over the phone or by video.

If any potential health risks are flagged from the blood test or during your consultation, our AXA Health Physiologist’s will suggest actions you can take to help get you back on the right track. This includes signposting to your GP or other AXA services if needed.

No, the questions covered within the consultation are completely optional, however you can only receive your blood test results through a consultation.

Once you have requested your blood testing kit and sent this back to Randox Health for review, Randox Health will contact us to let us know your results are ready. An AXA Health Physiologist will then be in touch via email with an online booking link for you to book your follow up consultation.  You can then book a remote assessment at a date and time that is most suitable for you. You will then receive a confirmation and reminder email prior to your appointment.

  1. Complete the ‘Test your Health’ remote blood test form to request your home testing kit.    
  2. Home testing kit sent  
  3. Receive your home testing kit 
  4. Scan the QR code on the testing kit box and watch’s the ‘how to’ video 
  5. You will then  take your own blood sample, seal the kit and send it back to Randox Health for processing  
  6. You will receive an email from AXA Health with a booking link to book in for your follow up consultation  
  7. Book your appointment online, and receive a confirmation and reminder email  
  8. You will join a video call  with an AXA Physiologist and they will share your results, discuss lifestyle habits and the ways in which you can help to improve your general health.  
  9. You will then receive a follow up report via email from the AXA Health Physiologist.

Yes, all the instructions will be included in the box, as well as a QR code providing you access to a ‘How to’ video. If you have any further questions just contact the AXA Health team at wellbeing.proactive@axahealth.co.uk.

That’s fine. All you need to do is click on your confirmation email and click the reschedule button. This will open the bookings website and you can select an alternative appointment.

Please do not consume food or any drinks other than water for 6 hours prior to collecting your sample.

We request that you take your sample in the morning (Monday – Thursday) and ensure it is in the post before noon on the same day.

Samples are processed by Randox Laboratories Ltd, which use various monitoring techniques to ensure compliance with ISO laboratory standards and to make sure the test results they produce are reliable.

We advise this may take up to 4 working days.

Results will be shared with your AXA Health Physiologist within 2-3 working days after receipt at the Randox Health Lab. You will then be contacted to book in for your follow up consultation.

Your ‘Test your Health’ kit comes with a prepaid envelope with the delivery address already printed on it.

No, the blood test is only available for direct employee’s.

Yes, you must be over 18 and under 80 years old.
