This yogurt treat provides us with one of our five a day. Eating five fruit or vegetables a day can help in reducing our risk of heart disease and some cancers. The Greek yogurt provides us with a good amount of protein that not only helps to support our muscles and bones, but can also keep us fuller for longer. It also provides us with over 20% of our daily calcium requirement. Calcium is important for bone health but also for muscle contractions.
Ingredients list
Makes 4 servings
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 120-240 minutes (freezing time)
- 500g 0% fat Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp clear honey
- 1 heaped tbsp cranberries
- 1 heaped tbsp raisins
- 80g strawberries
- 1 tbsp dark chocolate chips
- 1 tsp desicated coconut
- 80g raspberries
- 80g blueberries.
Method
Mix the yogurt and honey together until combined. Stir in the cranberries and raisins.
On a baking tray lined with baking paper, pour in the yogurt mixture and spread it out so the mixture is about 1/2 an inch thick.
Chop the strawberries and add the along with the rest of the remaining ingredients on top.
Place into the freezer for 2-4 hours or until completely frozen. Remove from the freezer and use a knife to break up into 8 peices.

- You can always add frozen berries instead of fresh berries.
