What would you like to do?

Membership documents

Everything your employees need to know about their membership, including handbooks and other important documents.

How do I claim?

Making a claim for treatment or a consultation is simple - we can even make a specialist appointment for you.

Where are members covered for treatment?

Access to a national network of hospitals, day-patient units, scanning centres and other private healthcare facilities.

Leaving the group plan?

We have a great offer for employees leaving your company scheme. It allows them to take out personal healthcare cover when they leave, with the option of cover for treatment of previous and existing medical conditions. Plus, any treatment they’re having could carry on uninterrupted too. Subject to the terms of the new plan they choose.

Your plan renewal

At the end of each plan year we will contact you to tell you the terms your plan will continue on if your plan is still available. We will renew the plan on the new terms unless you ask us to make changes or tell us you want to cancel.

Please refer to your Certificate of Insurance to ensure that we have referred to the correct policyholder for the Group Insurance Policy.

We’ll try to give you a call to answer any questions you may have about your renewal. If you’re happy with everything and your cover still meets your needs, there’s no need to contact us if you pay by Direct Debit. We’ll renew you automatically. If you pay by any other method, please send us your payment 14 days before your renewal date.

If you have any questions regarding the renewal of your plan please call your Account Manager or your intermediary. To review your important membership documents please see above.

Subscriptions for health insurance tend to increase every year, regardless of which health insurance company you use. There are a number of reasons why the cost of your healthcare insurance could increase. We review subscriptions each year and make calculations based on a number of factors. Two of the more common reasons are because:

Subscriptions will tend to rise as members get older. This is because, unfortunately, as we get older we all tend to suffer more with health issues.

The cost of medical treatment tends to rise too as new and better ways of diagnosing and treating diseases are developed. We regularly review our plans to keep them up to date and to include new tests and treatments where we can.

Please note that your subscription also includes Insurance Premium Tax (IPT) and any other taxes relevant to your group plan.

Your subscription will only change at renewal or if you change something about the plan during the year. We will tell you about any changes to your subscription in plenty of time.

There are a few things that you may be able to do to reduce your subscription. For example, you may be able to add an excess or set a higher excess. Please call your Account Manager if you would like to discuss this. To review your important membership documents please click here.
