Chilli and garlic prawns

A classic tapas dish that’s fresh, full of flavour and easy to prepare and cook!

Ingredients

Makes 6 servings
Preparation time: 5 minutes 
Cooking time: 5 minutes

  • 400g king prawns
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 large chilli
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Handful of parsley

Method

Finely slice the garlic, chop the chilli, zest and juice the lemon and finely chop the parsley.

Heat the olive oil in a pan over a medium heat and add the chilli and garlic.

Then add the prawns and cook until cooked halfway through – for around 2 minutes.

Turn each prawn over and cook on the other side until they're fully cooked. 

Add the lemon juice and zest and sprinkle over the chopped parsley to serve.
